Mr. ZHOU Yanli is a member of the Economic Committee of the 13th CPPCC, former Deputy Party Secretary and former Vice Chairman of the China Insurance Regulatory Commission. Mr. ZHOU Yanli successively served as Vice Chairman of the CIRC from 2005 to August 2016, before then he Head of the CIRC Non-Life Insurance Regulatory Department, and Director General of the CIRC Shanghai Office and Assistant Chairman from 1998 to 2005. Prior to his service in the CIRC, Mr. ZHOU Yanli worked in the insurance industry for nearly 40 years. He was President of the International Department in the People’s Insurance (Group) Company of China, and a member of its management team in China Insurance (Group) Company Ltd. HK, and the China Reinsurance (HK) Company Ltd.
