Dr. Duoguang Bei is the President of Chinese Academy of Financial Inclusion at the Renmin University of China (RUC), Secretary-General of the Council Board of International Forum for China Impact Investing (IFCII), and concurrently a professor and doctoral advisor at the RUC School of Finance. A 30-year veteran in the financial sector, Bei previously worked at the Ministry of Finance, China Securities Regulatory Commission, China International Capital Corporation Limited, and JPMorgan. In the early 1990s, Bei was a visiting research fellow at the University of California, Berkeley and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. He has published many academic works, including The Theory of Macro Finance, An Analysis on the Flow of Funds in China, and Beyond Financial Inclusion. Bei is a recipient of the Sun Yefang Prize for Economics, and has led major research projects supported by the National Social Science Fund of China. Dr. Bei strives to push forward the development of financial inclusion and impact investment in China. Dr. Bei became a member of the Valuation Technical & Practitioner Committee (VTPC) of the International Impact Valuation Foundation (IFVI) in April 2023, participating in international impact assessment.
